Bramble Heights is the name that we have for our thirty acre farm in the wilderness near Mountain Grove, Ontario, Canada.

We live here "off the grid", pump our water by hand, heat and cook with firewood that we gather in the forest.  Small scale, very rustic, very primitive.

At Bramble Heights we raise free range Poultry: Chickens, Ducks & Geese.  We also keep a small herd of Pigs on pasture.

Beyond that we grow vegtables and forage crops in our gardens.  No machinery, no pesticides, no chemical fertilizers, no problem. (Just a lot of work.:)
